University of Trakya, 2260 bid farewell to its graduates to build the future of our country and the world.
The graduation enthusiasm that started with Edirne Vocational School of Social Sciences on 27 May at Trakya University ended with the Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences on 25 June. Students enjoyed their graduation to the fullest with 34 different ceremonies held in 27 units for a month. In the activities attended by their families and teachers, the happiness, pride and belief in the future of the students were read from their eyes.
A total of 2260 students graduated from 211 different programs at Trakya University, where students who completed their graduate education in Social, Science and Health Sciences Institutes as well as faculties and colleges experience the joy of graduation. At Trakya University, which continues its work with the vision and mission of internationalization and the Balkans, the achievement of 18 international students in faculties and departments carried the happiness of graduation beyond the borders.
Stating that the enthusiasm for graduation continues after a two-year break due to the pandemic at Trakya University, Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu said, “Our students, families and teachers shared this great pride and happiness together.
During the one-month period, waves of pride and happiness rose from almost every point of our University. Our students; In addition to the trained manpower that our country and the world need, they will take part in the construction of the future world as moral and virtuous individuals in the light of science and reason. We are happy and proud to prepare our children for their professions and for the future.” said.
Rector Tabakoğlu, who stated that they have determined a graduation strategy as Trakya University, said, “We act with a program and strategy so that our students can experience graduation enthusiasm to the fullest. Since our students cannot experience this moment as they wish in a single day, in a single program, we organize a separate program for each of our schools and units. We allocate the most beautiful halls of our university and all our facilities to them. In this way, we ensure that our students experience the happiness and enthusiasm of this beautiful moment with their families and teachers, while also providing a dynamism to the economy of our city.” said.
Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu thanked the families and professors who contributed to the education of the students, saying that 18 of the international students were ranked higher.
