GRAND FATHER: “WHO DID NOT RELEASE THE MILITARY, GOD BLESS THEM WITH A THOUSAND KINDS OF TROUBLE”
Earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş caused the death of more than 40 thousand of our citizens. While more than 400 thousand people were injured in the earthquake, 11 provinces around, including Kahramanmaraş, were destroyed.
Along with the earthquake, it was also discussed that various aid organizations and the government did not provide sufficient and timely assistance to the earthquake area. In particular, the lack of coordination of AFAD and the late dispatch of the TAF to the earthquake zones were harshly reacted.
CHP Malatya Deputy Veli Ağbaba spoke out of the agenda in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Stating that those who say that the search and rescue capabilities, AFAD, TAF are in the earthquake zone, are lying, Ağbaba said, “I swear on everything. Even on my dead mother. There were neither soldiers nor AFAD. I went and saw Adıyaman and Malatya. People took it out on their own. Whoever didn’t take out the soldiers, may God give them a thousand kinds of trouble.” he said.
