Coincidentally, a Bitcoin (BTC)-themed pub called PubKey in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village where crypto enthusiasts can gather to enjoy drinks and meals prepared by a three Michelin-star-trained chef, Bloomberg’s Muyao Shen and Vildana Hajric reported in December. opened.
The Pub was opened by Thomas Pacchia, a former blockchain incubator manager of the largest global investment firm Fidelity, who announced in October that he plans to provide institutional users with access to Ethereum (ETH) transactions through its digital asset subsidiary.
As Pacchia explains:

Bitcoin payments not yet available
However, he said, there is a problem. Although the Pub is primarily aimed at the crypto-focused audience, it does not accept crypto as a payment method for its services, at least not yet, but there are plans to offer this option in the future.
Indeed, in early December PubKey’s profile posted a tweet tagging Block Inc. president Jack Dorsey and requesting a beta test for accepting Lightning payments through Square point-of-sale systems, to which he responded positively.

Meanwhile, the pub’s focus on the crypto crowd is evident from the decor, which represents the very popular ‘honey badger don’t care’ meme, featuring a stuffed honey badger that Pacchia says is Bitcoin’s spirit animal.
PubKey also features Russian nesting that represents discredited crypto personalities such as Sam Bankman-Fried of crypto exchange FTX, Do Kwon of blockchain firm Terraform Labs, Alex Mashinsky of crypto lending platform Celsius (CEL), and Su Zhu of Three Arrows Capital. including their babies.
