Edirne Blood Donation Center Director Batuhan Change told Anadolu Agency (AA) that the intense interest shown by the people of Edirne makes them proud.
Stating that 850 units of blood were donated throughout the province in 2 days, Var said, “Due to the high number of applications, we had to intervene in some places in terms of the manageability of our blood stocks. The process ahead will not take a few days, it will take a long time. The need for blood will continue to increase. We ask our factories, community health centers, customs, to be a little patient for team requests.” he said.

In Kırklareli, blood donations are accepted at 2 different points by the Turkish Red Crescent Blood Donation Center.
Imam Hatip High School in the city and Luleburgaz Blood donations are received at Emrullah Efendi Secondary School in the district.

Ceren Emine Arıbaş wished that the blood she donated would bring hope to the earthquake victims.
Arıbaş stated that he was moved because he donated blood and said, “I hope the blood I donated will save someone’s life. Anyone over the age of 18 who does not have any disease should donate blood. We should be a source of hope for them.” he said.
Efe İsmail Kaba also noted that he donated blood to support earthquake victims.
Expressing his great sadness, Kaba stated that the earthquake victims were under difficult conditions.
