Defend, Mr. Kemal is coming | Thrace Politics | Thrace News | Thrace News

The last “Six Tables” meeting of the Nation Alliance will take place today. It is among the backstage information that the candidate will be determined at the meeting, but that it will not be announced today. As everyone predicts, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will be the strongest candidate whose name is on the table (even the name whose candidacy is considered certain). So, how did this process come about?
However, behind the nomination of the candidate lies the suspicion that the Justice and Development Party may have a secret agenda regarding the election process. Although Erdogan is very afraid of the election, the possibility of delaying the election at the last minute by the Supreme Election Council by acting as if he wanted an election on May 14 is not overlooked in political circles. That is why it is not expected that the name of the candidate will be mentioned after the meeting.

The reaction from the democratic public to Meral Akşener, the leader of the IYI Party, who always put a shy reservation about Kılıçdaroğlu’s candidacy within the Nation Alliance, reached its highest level yesterday. On Wednesday evening, March 1, all the comments on the channels other than the pool media were that Akşener put the interests of his party before the interests of the country. Many commentators have stated that the determination of “cannot win” for Kılıçdaroğlu is very inappropriate and inappropriate. Because Kılıçdaroğlu is a natural candidate for the other components of the Nation Alliance.
The nationalist alliance led by the Victory Party stated that they would not nominate a candidate if Six Tables nominated Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş; otherwise, they would nominate Muharrem İnce, with Ümit Özdağ’s conversation with journalist Fatih Altaylı. Ince, on the other hand, stated in a program he attended that they would support Kılıçdaroğlu in case of the second round. Therefore, this side will eventually have to cross paths with Kılıçdaroğlu.
On the other hand, in the Socialist Alliance, the TKP argues that a socialist candidate should be nominated. However, it is considered certain that the Left Party circles will give the green light to the candidacy of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who used to be a columnist for the newspaper BirGün.
Although the Labor and Freedom Alliance, led by the HDP, which will determine the fate of the election, has not issued any declaration, it is on the side that most clearly shows its intentions as of today. Accordingly, the desire of the Workers’ Party of Turkey, whose star has been shining in the alliance recently, to come out with a common candidate has been known for a long time.

Attempts that the HDP would nominate its own candidate had started to come to the fore a few months ago. While it is clear that there are deep differences of opinion between Selahattin Demirtaş and Kandil in the Kurdish movement, a tweet by Selahattin Demirtaş, who has been imprisoned since 2016, was the step that untied the knot.
Demirtaş said, “Walk, Labor and Freedom Alliance! Walk Socialist Alliance! Walk Nation Alliance! Go, Mr. Kemal! Walk side by side. Unite, reconcile and rebuild this destroyed country. We have no other choice, we will make it.” In his message, which included his statements, it was interpreted that he could support Kılıçdaroğlu’s candidacy more than anyone else.
Considering that the Labor and Freedom Alliance, which includes socialist circles, could push the 12-13 percent band, Demirtaş, directly throwing Akşener’s “candidate to win” anxiety into the trash, brought Kılıçdaroğlu to the first place in his candidacy. According to this calculation, the consolidation of the IYI Party, which has a minimum vote rate of 11-12, is enough to make Kılıçdaroğlu the President of the Republic. Moreover, the votes of the other parties of the alliance and the majority of the undecided will be added to this front.

Seeing the risk that Selahattin Demirtaş’s Labor and Freedom Alliance might openly support Kılıçdaroğlu, Tayyip Erdoğan said in a speech he delivered in January 2022: “The biggest accountability in Edirne (Demirtaş) will be on those in İmralı (Öcalan). He thinks that everywhere is powdery pink right now… Not! They have their own separate reckoning. And they will make this showdown as well.”
As it is known, it was stated that after the re-run of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality elections in 2019 became final, a letter was received from Abdullah Öcalan to be impartial; Osman Öcalan was taken to TRT Kurdi channel and negative words were shared about İmamoğlu. In fact, MHP leader Bahçeli harshly criticized the HDP, which did not comply with Öcalan’s call for neutrality. Despite this, HDP voters did not withdraw their support from the common candidate; Other citizens protesting this unfair situation were also put in the ballot box and re-elected the candidate nominated by the CHP by a wide margin.
However, it seems that Kılıçdaroğlu’s candidate and election is just a simple mathematical calculation. Mr. Kemal, who is an account expert, gives the signal that he will be a candidate and that he will win years ago. The archive does not forget. Here is Kılıçdaroğlu’s historic speech:
