It has been announced that the regulation on the Aged Retirement (EYT) will be presented to the Turkish Grand National Assembly next week, and those who retire will receive their first salaries in March. AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Muhammet Emin Akbaşoğlu said that the EYT regulation will probably be submitted to the Parliament next week. Akbaşoğlu said, “In March, EYT members will receive their salaries.”
Ak Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik was asked yesterday when the regulation on retirement age (EYT) will be presented to the Parliament: “It will be in February or at the latest in March. It runs on its own schedule. The will has arisen,” he said.
The proposal to solve the 23-year-old problem will cover those who started working before September 8, 1999.
NO AGE LIMIT
There will be no age limit for EYT, which will benefit 2 million 250 thousand people. Employers will be supported by the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) in terms of severance pay of EYT members. A special 5 point SSI support premium discount will be made for workers who leave due to EYT, receive severance pay but want to continue their work.
APPLICATION FROM E-GOVERNMENT
Since the enactment process regarding EYT has not taken place yet, the applications made at the moment will not be valid. After the legal process is completed, applications will be made to SSI via e-Government.
