Balkan Countries Friendship Group Youth ve Sport Club Association (BUDDER) President Önder AkdagIn a statement to the journalists in Selimiye Square, he said that they decided to organize an “Edirne Kindness March”, the income of which will be donated to earthquake victims, as part of the 8th International Edirne Marathon.
Stating that the necessary permissions for the march have been obtained, Akdağ said, “We have made the necessary correspondence regarding this and completed the work on our site. As of today, anyone who enters the www.edirnemaratonu.com page will be able to register for the Edirne Goodness Walk. We are doing this as an awareness event about earthquake victims.” said.
Akdağ stated that the march will also be instrumental in organizing other aid activities.
Noting that they have started preparations for the march, Akdağ said, “As awareness will be needed more in the coming period, we have determined the date of the march as June 11th. The march will start next to the 25 November Stadium and end at Selimiye Square. We invite all our people and citizens to participate in this awareness march. “The participants will make a payment of 100 liras. We will donate all of the income to the official institutions of the state.” he said.
