University of Trakya State Conservatory, graduation ceremony organized. The ceremony was marked by the concert of the graduating graduates. The students, who sang the works in their repertoire accompanied by instruments such as oboe and clarinet under the leadership of the lecturers, had a pleasant time with their families and relatives.
Trakya University State Conservatory, which has made a great impression in many national and international organizations it has participated in and has achieved many successes every year, bid farewell to its artists with a magnificent graduation ceremony. At the ceremony where the enthusiasm for graduation was experienced, the families of the students shared the joy of throwing their caps.
The ceremony held at the Trakya University State Conservatory Art, Education and Performance Center was attended by the Vice Rector and also the Director of the State Conservatory Prof. Ahmet Hamdi Zafer, Deputy Secretary General Ahmet Sezgin, academic and administrative staff, students and their families attended.
The ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, continued with the screening of the Trakya University promotional film. Minel Çancı, the winner of the 2021-2022 Academic Year State Conservatory, who made the opening speech of the ceremony, stated that they are proud and happy to graduate and that they are prepared for the future in the best way and that they will continue to be successful. Minel Çancı, on behalf of all her graduates, thanked her teachers and her family for educating them, and ended her speech.
Starting his speech by talking about the historical development of the State Conservatory and the works it has implemented, Trakya University Vice Rector and State Conservatory Director Prof. Ahmet Hamdi Zafer said, “We have adopted the principle of training artists and teachers who aim to develop the individual, family and society, are sensitive to innovations and changes, serve at the level of professional standards, develop their professional careers by taking roles and responsibilities in education, management and research, and adopt lifelong learning. I would like to express my sincere thanks to our Rectorate for their unwavering support in achieving this goal, and to our academic and administrative staff for their devoted work in maintaining quality education and training activities and operating them perfectly.” said.
Congratulating the parents for the success of their sons, Prof. Ahmet Hamdi Zafer ended his speech by addressing the students with the following sentences: “I believe that you will practice your profession while using your artistic knowledge and skills, regardless of race, belief, color, political or social status. Your professional life exam begins now and will last a lifetime. Your success will further elevate Trakya University and honor us. Let the light of reason, conscience and art illuminate your path. An honest, hardworking and productive person is a “value”. When you create value, success will follow. Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said, “An artist is the first person to feel the light on his forehead after long efforts and studies in society.” Don’t forget your word. Participating in the graduation ceremony via video message, Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu stated that the State Conservatory proudly represents Trakya University in every organization they attend in Turkey and abroad, and congratulated the academic staff and students who contributed to the success. Stating that the State Conservatory has undertaken an important mission to contribute to the social, cultural and artistic development of the city and the region, Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu stated that he believes his success will continue to increase.

After the speeches at the ceremony, a music concert prepared by the first-ranking students accompanied by the instructors was given. Minel Çancı, Hilal Karaca and Metin Karstır, who completed their high school education, sang their valuable works for their families who filled the hall. It was applauded for a long time by young artists, families and participants.
Then, the conservatory top rank Minel Çancı placed a plaque on her graduation log. State Conservatory top winner Minel Çancı presented her certificate and plaque to Vice Rector Prof. Ahmet Hamdi Zafer presented it. At the ceremony, students who successfully completed their education and training were given graduation certificates. The graduates, who received their representative diplomas from their teachers, celebrated the graduation by throwing their caps into the air.
