CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who went to the earthquake zone for the second time, continues to convey his impressions from the region.
Kılıçdaroğlu made a call to the citizens on Twitter. Kılıçdaroğlu said, “Let’s meet here in an hour.”
In the video shared by the CHP leader, “Let’s not forget today. Don’t stay on the ground. Do not let the rights of the oppressed remain on the sofa. This country needs a new peace, a new order, my people,” he said.
Kılıçdaroğlu said:
“Good night my dear people,
I call out with a deep heartache from the dark night of a hard day. There is a lot of struggle here. Our people are fighting a fierce struggle against time. In order to save another life, he opens tunnels of life with his nails. Turkey’s children have set their hearts. God bless all. Turkey will not forget him.
We were hurt a lot, my people. The land will surely embrace us all when the time comes. But they say, may God give a sequential death. I wish it was. There are also survivors on the street, who gave their lives in the street in the deadly cold, and they are resisting. Coordination has not yet been achieved. No tents, no toilets. What else can I tell you in these pitch black hours? Let’s not forget today. Don’t stay on the ground. Do not let the rights of the oppressed remain on the sofa. This country needs a new order, my people. The road ahead will be very long. That road is very bumpy, our climb will be very steep. As they say, we can’t go anywhere in a year. We’ve reached a point where we can’t handle workarounds. Our values, which made us who we are, have been damaged, my people. Arrogance, theft, rent quarrel, selfishness, we must end them immediately. These have eroded Turkey’s soul. Now we have to bring about a new order in which greed ends and resources belong to all of our people, not to a small minority. Rest assured, this is not just a change of power. We will pull out and build a state that never forgets that a strong social state exists for its citizens. Let’s never experience such pain again for a preventable reason. Let this be the end, this is the end.”
