Kirklareli Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kırklareli TSO) New Service Building‘s Groundbreaking Ceremony and the opening ceremony of the “Station Kırklareli Regional Community Center”, which is serving within the chamber, with the participation of Kırklareli Governor Mr. Birol Ekici, and the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, on 13 August 2022. It was held on Saturday.

Soner Ilık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kırklareli TSO, made the opening speech at the ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, watching the video conference message of Meta Turkey Azerbaijan Public Policy Director Sezen Yeşil, and the speech of Habitat Association Chairman Sezai Ready.

Our duties and responsibilities increase with the investments made in the industry of our province and the number of our members, whose trade volume is growing day by day and accordingly increasing. We are proud and happy to lay the foundation of our new service building, which is modern and well equipped to meet the needs of our members, together with you. We are planning to put our new service building, which has 5 floors and 3 thousand square meters of usage area, into service within 18 months. I hope we will open it together again.

The young and dynamic workforce of our region and our city, agricultural land, modern industrial infrastructure, our location at the intercontinental connection point and our educated human resources have important advantages for new and innovative investments. With the establishment protocol we signed together with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Habitat Association and Trakya Development Agency, we laid the foundation of the “Istasyon Kırklareli Community Center”, which aims to provide capacity building services to different communities, SMEs and entrepreneurs in Thrace by starting our work in 2019. We became happy. Our entrepreneurial story from the past and our experience in the business world, technological developments and the stakeholders we set out on this path made it much easier to create an ecosystem. Especially with our valuable stakeholders such as the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Trakya Development Agency and Habitat, we, as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Management and Assembly, have been carrying out programs and activities with the theme of “Youth Employment” and “Innovative Entrepreneurship” within the scope of an intensive entrepreneurship strategic action plan for the last 2 years. Our “Station Kırklareli Regional Community Center”, which we will open today; It is designed as a center where we will implement our programs such as “Youth Employment”, “My New Job, Enterprise” and to ensure that the communities in the region access the resources, knowledge and skills they need to grow in the digital world and are mobile. Together with our partners, we have offered various supports. With incubation centers, 24/7 working areas, Demo-Day, Hackathlon, mentoring and technical consultancy support, we prepared young people with business ideas for the business environment, rewarded successful business ideas and tried to bring them together with investors. and with the support of the Trakya Development Agency, “wool for [email protected]We organized the “Entrepreneurship Competition” in races, the regional event organized by the Kırklareli University wool for sosaydi Team, with the participation of students from Trakya University and Namık Kemal University, different business ideas were developed and Mentoring and Coaching Support was given to the first 10 successful projects. In addition, with the support of Habitat, young people, women and SMEs Trainings such as cloud computing, internet security, correct use of social media, online security and software skills, financial literacy, as well as coding, software, algorithmic thinking for children will be included in our entrepreneurship programs. As a center that helps entrepreneurs analyze their problems correctly and develop sustainable solutions for them, Istasyon Kırklareli is a first in the Thrace Region in this sense.
