Due to the resignation of Edirne Provincial President of the Republican People’s Party, Fevzi Pekcan, to become a candidate for parliamentary candidate, the members of the board of directors determined the new provincial president.
A total of 20 board members voted in the election in which Samet Kahraman and Türker Altıerler were presidential candidates. Samet Kahraman, who received 13 votes in the election, was appointed as the Edirne Provincial Chairman of the Republican People’s Party.
