According to the confession of a previous employee of the company, Kent A.Ş. management prepared fake stamps by copying the information of hundreds of companies in order to receive direct supplies unrivaled. It was claimed that the stamps were used and continue to be used in official documents.
A former staff member of Kapaklı Municipality’s subsidiary company Kent A.Ş. He claimed that he printed 270 counterfeit stamps in the same period and that they made direct purchases with counterfeit stamps produced on behalf of companies active in the market.
“WE PRINTED FAKE STAMP UNTIL MORNING”
Former staff’s allegations were astonishing. Saying that Kent A.Ş. produced fake stamps until one night in order to fill out the retroactive documents, the confessor said, “One day Kent A.Ş. An important name, who is a Member of the Board of Directors, was told that there will be an audit the next day and retrospective direct procurements will be examined. After this information was given, other managers and personnel of Kent A.Ş. Because no market research was conducted in any of the direct procurements made until that time. Immediately after this event, Kent A.Ş. one of the staff came up with the idea of printing fake stamps and arranging fake documents for purchases made with these stamps in the past without market research. After this idea, 270 fake stamps were prepared until the morning and retroactive direct procurement documents were created with these stamps.
“THEY CONTINUE TO USE STAMPS!”
Claiming that the 270 fake stamps in question continued to be used after that incident, the former staff said, “They used the stamps they made due to the inspection, in the purchases made after the incident. The management has stamps of 270 companies operating in almost every sector. Moreover, they do not even know that the companies whose fake stamps are prepared are bidding for direct procurements made in Kent A.Ş.

Describing the dialogue with the managers of the institution after the fake stamp incident, the former staff said, “I asked my manager if it would be a problem for them to use these stamps. He also told me that we are the municipality of the ruling party, nothing will happen to us.”

Kent A.Ş. his former staff also shared with our newspaper the fake stamps allegedly prepared in-house. There is even a stamp of a technology giant operating throughout the country in the fake stamps, which contain hundreds of companies operating in the region in various sectors.
