Speaker of the Assembly Şentop said, “The despicable actions of these despicable people and the attitudes of the authorities of the country in question are an indication of the alarming level that Islamophobia, racist and extremist movements have reached in Europe. I once again condemn these human scraps.” He also criticized the countries that allowed the protests to take place, saying, “I call on the Western countries, which target Muslims at every opportunity and allow them to be targeted, under the guise of idolatry of freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law, to give up their unprincipled behavior and to learn from their past.”
Şentop, who warned Western countries, especially European countries, called for the abandonment of the double standard, and said, “Western countries should put an end to this dangerous game immediately. They should stop insulting the sacred of people. They should not allow societies to be played with fault lines. They should now see that the fire that will break out will burn everyone.”
Expressing that the events reminded the pre-Hitler era, Şentop said, “These events almost pave the way for the Nazi era. It reminds me of Hitler.” In his speech, Şentop criticized Islamic countries for their weakness in showing their stance and said, “We have to make a self-criticism in this context. I regret to express that in the face of the grave events that took place, the voices of Muslim countries and the organizations we participate in were weak enough to be the subject of a separate report. However, our collective and strong response will undoubtedly enable Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands or other countries where such disrespect is experienced to take care of themselves and force them to prevent similar disasters that may occur in the future.

Şentop stated that organizations representing the Islamic world are also struggling with internal conflicts and continued his words as follows:
