Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality, which took action after the 7.4 magnitude earthquake with the epicenter in Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş, sent a team of 12 people to the region to support search and rescue and debris removal efforts in Kahramanmaraş and Gaziantep.

Stating that a well-equipped team formed by the Fire Brigade Department has moved to the region, Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Albayrak said, “First of all, I convey our best wishes to all our citizens affected by the earthquake, especially Kahramanmaraş and Gaziantep. We have casualties. Bless our nation. I hope we get through with the least loss of life and damage. As Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality, we immediately took action as soon as we received the news of the earthquake and sent a team of 4 vehicles and 12 firefighters to the earthquake region where 10 provinces were affected to support search and rescue and debris removal activities. We are always with our citizens financially and morally. I wish God’s mercy once again to our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake, and I wish a speedy recovery to the survivors. A TEAM OF 12 PEOPLE STARTED WITH 4 VEHICLES
The team, consisting of 4 vehicles and 12 firefighters, fully equipped with accident destruction vehicles and equipment, will support search and rescue and debris removal activities in Kahramanmaraş and Gaziantep.
