With the announcement of the inflation data, the rate of increase that civil servants and retirees will receive has become clear. With the last inflation data of the year announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the critical 6-month inflation for civil servants and pensioners has also been determined.

TURKSTAT announced that inflation increased by 1.18 percent in CPI in December and realized as 64.27 percent in the whole of 2022.

Inflation for the last 6 months was 15.39 percent.

HOW ARE RETIRED AND OFFICER SALARY DETERMINED?
Salary increase for civil servants and civil servants is determined twice a year, with a 6-month inflation difference in addition to the collective bargaining increase. The civil servants received a 7% collective bargaining increase in July. You are entitled to an inflation difference equal to the rate exceeding this figure. For January, the increase rate of civil servants and civil servants is revealed by adding the 8 percent collective agreement increase and the inflation difference.

SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees also get a raise every 6 months. The raise rate of retirees is determined according to 6-month inflation.

HOW MUCH IS THE RISE?
Civil servants and civil servant retirees will receive an inflation difference of 7.84 percent and a collective bargaining increase of 8 percent in January. Thus, civil servants and civil servant retirees were entitled to a 16.47 percent raise in January.

SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will receive a 15.39 percent raise.

MINIMUM SSK AND BAG-KUR PENSION
Current salary is 3 thousand 500 TL
The lowest SSK and Bağ-Kur pensions are also expected to be increased in the new year. This figure has not yet been determined.
